It is a rare privilege to see behind the facade of the people around us. It is perhaps even more difficult to see people who have earned a certain status in society. The society around us, together with the profession we have, creates a picture of who we are, but how much does this picture truly show us?

Classical ballet is not a simple art form. To become the best you have to sacrifice more than you can imagine. Thens of thousands of hours spent perfecting your movements, pushing your body to its breaking point. Grete and Douwe are both Principal dancers at the Norwegian national opera and ballet. This is a glimpse in to their lives.
